This is their chance to earn a spot in the new Gerald Asamoah Football Academy!

Participation in the Cup is free, but you must register to play.

Compete for more than just a trophy. This tournament is the exclusive qualifier for the Excellence Scholarship, offering talented kids a world-class education at a fraction of the cost. If selected, families pay only a reduced annual fee (approx. 17%) and a one-time admission fee of €200.

Scholarship Selection Process:

Application deadline: 21/01/2026 and invitation to the Gerald-Asamoah-Cup 2026
Invitation to the Assessment Center: 30/01/2026
Trial schooling: Date to be confirmed
Start of the German intensive course: February

If your kid is selected for the Scholarship, we will then further need:

Cover letter
Application form including a photo of the student
School reports from the last two academic years
Educational assessments (if available)
Student’s ID or birth certificate
ID of both parents
Electricity bill as proof of address in Ghana
For self-employed applicants: Most recent tax return stamped by the GRA, prepared by an auditor, and certified by an accountant
For employed applicants: Employer’s payslip and employment contract
Bank statements from the last 6 months
