DAF Intensive Class 2026 Graduation – A Milestone on the Path to Mainstream Classes
This week, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our DAF Intensive Class of 2026 at the German International School Accra (GISA). The certificate ceremony marked an important milestone in the educational journey of these dedicated students.
Over the past months, the participants of the DAF Intensive Class have shown remarkable commitment, perseverance, and determination in developing their German language skills. The intensive program challenges students to work hard, remain focused, and steadily prepare for learning within the German educational system. Alongside language acquisition, the program supports their academic and social integration into school life at GISA.
We are therefore especially proud that all graduates have successfully completed this demanding stage of their journey. Their achievements have prepared them well for the next step: joining our regular classes in the coming school year and continuing their educational pathway within our school community.
A special thank you goes to Denise Schoechert and Benjamin Akrong, whose dedication, expertise, and continuous support have guided the students throughout the entire program.
The DAF Intensive Class is a key component of our Excellence Scholarship Program (ESP). Through this scholarship initiative, talented and highly motivated children from Ghana gain access to a German international education and the opportunity to develop their full academic potential. In addition to intensive language support, students benefit from a high-quality multilingual and intercultural learning environment that prepares them for future academic and professional success.
The progress demonstrated by this year's graduates is a powerful example of what can be achieved through hard work, determination, and opportunity. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to accompanying them on the next stage of their educational journey at GISA.
At the same time, we are already looking ahead. Preparations for the next cohort of the Excellence Scholarship Program are underway, and we are excited to welcome new applicants in the 2026/27 school year. We look forward to meeting motivated young learners who are ready to embrace this unique opportunity and become part of the GISA community.
Congratulations to all graduates of the DAF Intensive Class of 2026. We wish you every success and look forward to seeing you continue to grow and thrive in your regular classes next year! 🎓🌍🇩🇪🇬🇭
