GISA Got Talent 2026 – Let the Show Begin!
On Thursday, 25 June 2026, the stage was finally set for GISA Got Talent 2026! After weeks of rehearsals during break times, our talented performers were ready to showcase their skills in front of the entire school community.
From our Nursery to Class 8, excited students filled the audience, creating a fantastic atmosphere of anticipation and encouragement. Five groups took to the stage, delighting everyone with creative, entertaining and impressive performances.
Following the official welcome, the members of the jury were introduced. Alongside Bernard Mensah, Amanda Farouk and Sara Debackere—supported by their assistants Amalia and Karim—the jury also included student representatives: Sol (Class 5), Cleantha (Class 6) and Nii (Class 8). Their humorous comments, quick wit and thoughtful feedback kept both performers and audience entertained throughout the event.
Our charismatic host, Kekeli from Class 7, guided the audience through the programme with confidence, creativity and plenty of humour. Behind the scenes, Clemencia Mayoga and Steffi Weber ensured that everything ran smoothly.
The competition opened with The Black Stars, featuring Charlotte, Arlene, Nana Yaa, Ewura, Käthe, Mohai, Michelle, Nana Adwoa, Amberlyn and Stephie. Their energetic dance performance immediately captivated the audience. They were followed by The Star, consisting of Trudy, Daria, Christabel, Nani and Afia, whose impressive choreography left everyone amazed.
One of the most unexpected performances came from Soap Eaters, with Oskar, Lias, Amalia, Nael, Nana Adyemang, Kimo, Papa Kwesi and Fiifi. Their unusual act kept both the audience and the judges guessing while providing plenty of laughter.
Another outstanding highlight was the performance by the K-Pop Stars, Malia and Elva. Supported by their costume designers Hannah and Afia, as well as their manager Wolf, they delivered a dynamic, polished and highly entertaining dance routine.
The competition concluded with Scubaaazz, featuring singers Alexis, Zoe, Rudatu and Nana Adwoa, accompanied by their manager Anton. Their musical performance provided a wonderful and memorable finale to the competition.
A special surprise was the spontaneous demonstration by our Kindergarten Taekwondo group. Together with their coach Daniel, the children proudly showcased their skills and impressed the entire school community with their performance.
One of the most touching moments of the afternoon came from the children of Classes 1 and 2. For several days they had kept a special surprise secret from their class teacher, Ramona Klaes. Performing the popular carnival song Oben unten, they presented her with a heartfelt birthday surprise. Their joyful dance performance brought a big smile to Mrs Klaes's face, and during the birthday song that followed, each child presented her with a flower and a warm hug—a truly emotional moment that touched everyone present.
The excitement reached its peak when the winners of GISA Got Talent 2026 were finally announced. After carefully praising each performance, the jury revealed their decision: with their outstanding dance performance, Malia and Elva – the K-Pop Stars – won this year's competition.
Congratulations to our deserving winners!
A heartfelt thank you goes to all participants, our wonderful jury members, everyone who helped organise the event, and our fantastic audience. Your enthusiasm, creativity and support made GISA Got Talent 2026 an unforgettable experience.
We are already looking forward to next year, when the curtain rises once again for GISA Got Talent!
