Kindergarten – A Week Full of Movement, Discovery and Excitement for Our Lantern Festival

This week, preparations for our upcoming Lantern Festival continued in full swing. With lots of creativity and enthusiasm, the children made additional decorations and worked on the stage scenery for our Preschoolers little theatre performance.

Alongside the festival preparations, we also focused on an important everyday topic: proper hand hygiene. During a fun, hands-on activity, the children drew little bacteria on their hands and then washed them away using soap and water. This playful experiment helped them understand why washing their hands thoroughly is so important.

There was also something delicious happening in our kitchen. As part of our baking activity, the children prepared tasty Puff Puffs together and, of course, enjoyed trying their homemade treats afterwards.

One of the biggest highlights of the week was our Bike Day! We transformed our basketball court into a little traffic zone, where the children learned about different road signs and practiced riding on the correct side of the road, as well as following basic traffic and cycling rules. They explored the course with great excitement and simply couldn't get enough of riding their bikes! The day was a huge success and certainly won't be our last Bike Day!

Of course, all our other regular activities also took place as usual. There was also plenty of time for free play, allowing the children to play together, develop their own ideas and let their creativity flourish.

A wonderful week filled with shared experiences, playful learning, movement and creativity!
