Moving Together – A Trip Around the World

Last week, the GISA soccer field was filled with color, joy, and movement: Our Kindergarten hosted a special physical activity for parents and children.

Under the theme “We spread our wings and fly out into the world,” our parachute turned into an airplane. Together with their parents, the children set off on an exciting journey around the world. Our journey first took us to Germany, to the North Sea, where we explored the ocean and the colorful fishes. We continued on to Greenland, where we built an igloo together. In South America, an exciting swamp with crocodiles awaited us. Afterward, we traveled to Mexico City to help with a fun mouse hunt there. Finally, we flew to France, to Disneyland Paris, where a joyful carousel ride awaited us. At each stop, there were suitable movement games in which the children could get active together with their parents. The focus was not only on agility, coordination, and reaction time, but above all on the joy of movement and the shared experience.

It was especially wonderful to watch how parents and children interacted with one another, supported each other, and had a lot of fun together. The parachute became a unifying element that got everyone moving and turned our trip around the world into a special shared experience. The afternoon thus offered much more than just physical activity. It created space for socializing, imagination, shared experiences, and precious parent-child time—outside the usual kindergarten routine and in a cheerful atmosphere. With many smiling faces, touching moments, and wonderful shared memories, our plane finally landed safely back on the GISA soccer field.
