A Musical Journey Through Germany

During Project Time in Primary School, our students are setting off on a very special journey through Germany – through music.

The project takes the children through four musical stations, each representing a different region or tradition: Northern Germany, Southern Germany, German Carnival and, finally, the German national anthem. At each stop, the students learn a representative piece of music, explore its cultural background and prepare it together for performance.

Through singing, listening and performing, the children not only develop their musical skills but also discover the cultural and regional diversity of Germany. They experience how music can reflect traditions, stories and a sense of identity.

At the end of the project, the selected pieces will be presented in a final performance. In this way, the students will take their audience on a musical journey through Germany, combining learning, culture and the joy of making music together.
