German Festivals in Project Time: Oktoberfest

As part of our “German Festivals” project time, the primary school children explored Oktoberfest this week. Through playful activities, they learned about one of Germany’s best-known traditions and discovered typical customs, music, clothing, and the special atmosphere associated with the festival.

A variety of games and group activities gave the children the opportunity to explore the topic in different ways. To complete the Oktoberfest experience, they also decorated traditional gingerbread hearts with plenty of creativity and enthusiasm.
