A Journey Through the Seasons – Digital and Creative

During Project Time in our Secondary School, a very special calendar is currently taking shape month by month. In the project “A Journey Through the Seasons”, students are working in pairs to create a digital annual calendar using Canva.

For each month, they design a creative cover page and an informative monthly page. In the process, they explore public holidays and special events in Germany, typical activities throughout the year, and the particular features of the different seasons.

The students carry out their own research, select relevant information and then turn it into a creative digital design. In this way, the project combines subject-based learning with creativity and the purposeful use of digital media.

At the same time, they are developing important skills: finding and evaluating information, working collaboratively, structuring content and using digital tools effectively.

Our calendar continues to grow – month by month, season by season. With every new page, our shared journey through the year takes a little more shape.
