Class 6 – A Wonderful End to the School Year

Even during the final week of school, the students of Class 6 enjoyed many memorable experiences together.

At the beginning of the week, however, our patience was put to the test. We arrived at school on Monday morning full of excitement, eager to board the bus and set off on our well-deserved class trip. Over the past few weeks, we had once again proven ourselves to be a strong and supportive class through our positive behaviour and dedicated participation in lessons. As a reward for earning enough class stars, we celebrated the end of the school year with a day trip to the We-Ape Mega Zipline & Adventure Park in Aburi.

After a delayed departure, we finally boarded the bus at 9:30 a.m. and arrived in Aburi in high spirits, excited for the adventure ahead. Once there, we could hardly wait to put on our climbing harnesses and tackle the different challenges.

Divided into three groups, we set off on our adventure. The bravest students challenged themselves on the demanding Fitness Adventure Course, while the other groups explored the Family Adventure Course. Even a brief rain shower could not stop us from successfully completing the courses. With great teamwork, mutual encouragement, and plenty of fun, we mastered the climbing obstacles and ziplines. By the end of the day, everyone could be proud of their achievements and look back on an exciting and unforgettable experience.

After enjoying lunch together in the park, we began our journey back to school. Happy, satisfied, and pleasantly exhausted, we returned and rounded off the day with a late lunch at the Swiss Club. This final shared adventure before the summer holidays was the perfect way to celebrate the end of our time together in Class 6.

Sadly, Thursday and Friday also brought moments of farewell. We said goodbye to three valued classmates as Frieda, Cairon, and Wisdom left GISA to begin new chapters in their lives. We wish each of them every happiness and success for the future and hope they will always look back fondly on their time at GISA and the many wonderful memories they made with Class 6.

Dear Frieda, Cairon, and Wisdom – you will be greatly missed! We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will come back to visit us someday.
